Op 29 juni jl. vond het door Kappetijn Safety Specialist georganiseerde congres ‘Mutual Aid en Publiek Private Samenwerking (PPS) in haven- en industriegebieden’ plaats. Het thema van het congres was samenwerking tussen bedrijfsbrandweer en overheidsbrandweer.
Sitech pakt nieuwe rol in uitbouw ICE en draagt bij aan sterkere PPS
De chemische industrie heeft een samenwerkingsprogramma om publieke hulpverleners de ondersteunen bij ongevallen met het vervoer van gevaarlijke stoffen. Dit programma is sinds 1 maart 2018 beter herkenbaar als privaat systeem. Het ICE-systeem heet nu VGS-Alert en de meldkamer is ondergebracht bij VNCI-lid Sitech Services op Chemelot.
